This list has what i consider to be the best credit cards and may not match exactly what other blogs or even you yourself consider the best. I do not get paid from any of these links so this is as unbiased as it gets. I am working on this list daily and so it is not yet fully complete .
Chase: This bank seems to like it if you have an amex card (trying to be competitive) , and you need at least 720 fico score to apply for the offers below .
Chase Sapphire – Chase sapphire is a stand up card because the first years fee is waived (nothing special i know ) and you get a pretty nice bonus of 40k miles after spending $4,000 and 5,000 miles for adding an authorized user. You get 2 points for all travel spend (any kind including hotels and guesthouses) and 2 points for all dining spend ( but 3 points the first friday of every month). I would estimate each point to be worth 2 cents because the points are transferrable to many partners including krisflyer (Easy first class redemptions ), so you are looking at around $900 value in signup bonus and You can signup for this card here . This card also comes with pretty good insurance against cancellations for your flights (if fully paid with the sapphire) and primary insurance for rental cars (even abroad) . There are no foreign charges on this card and it comes with a signature chip which is good for europe (most of the time).
Chase southwest credit card: comes with 50,000 miles(worth around $715) after you spend $2000 this card also comes with a yearly fee of $99 so be aware (first year not waived. ). You can apply for this card here .
Citi Bank : This bank seems to like it if you have a chase card (only from personal experience) , and i would say you need at least 720 fico to apply for the offers below .
Citi ThankYou® Premier Card: Earn 20,000 points after $2,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening, earn 30,000 points after another $3,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of your second year of being a cardmember . The first years fee is waived so consider this paying $125 for 50k points which i would value at 1.8 cents each if you like flying in first class or business with krisflyer. The reason i think the fee is worth it for at least the 2nd year is that you get 3 points on dining always which is better then the chase saphire. As i spend most of my spend on food i think this will be one of my new cards . You also get 2 points on airfare and hotels but i believe a bit more strict then the chase sapphire in what counts or not. It comes with all sorts of nice perks and benefits which you can see and apply for the card here .
Barclaycard : Pretty easy to get accepted but only apply for a card with them every 6 months as they are quite sensitive to changes in your credit score . I would advise you to have at least a 700 to apply for the offers below.
Us airways : 50k miles after any kind of spend on the card! that’s right there is no spend requirement on this card! apply soon as this card will soon disappear . It comes with an $89 dollar yearly fee but it’s totally worth it and quite easy to waive in the 2nd year if you need to. You also get a free suitcase on us air and priority on the airline and 25% discount onboard the plane if you buy any food/drinks Apply here .
